Hold a 1 litre (or known volume, or weight it after) container under the shower rose and time how long it take to fill. Then you can calculate how many minutes you have between getting damp & drowning!

Im after an actual flow meter so I can say, for example we have 2 nights left and 60l of water left for showering....so were allowed 15 lts each per shower

Doesn't your van have gauge on tank/s? If not, an easy retrofit, a much more reliable methodology to determine residual water.

If you are looking for an accurate figure as you suggest, then you need an input/output meter, as van tanks are notoriously different in volume accepted to the nominal figure.
You will need accurate input volumes to ensure your output reading is correct.

Chaos, mayhem, confusion. Good my job here is done
Im after an inline flow meter to fit to the shower hose so I can measure how much water Im using.
I only want something cheap with a big enough readout that I can read without my glasses on, without trimmers, temperature gauges etc.
Everything I've found has either has a too smaller screen or too larger inlet and outlet.
Any ideas
Cheers
We use a 9 ltre bucket under the grey water outlet, wife uses 6 litres to have shower, me 8 litres. There would not be a cup or 2 difference between our showers uses and I know because I empty the bucket.
