Butane cartridges ? I haven't seen a 12 pack in a long time and they were always rare but the 4 packs are available literally everywhere. Just where have you looked ?

You might want to look at a cheap Induction plate but that also might mean investing in suitable ferrous pots and pans and jack up the cost.

When I needed cookware for my newly bought induction plate,I simply took a magnet with me when I went shopping. If a magnet sticks to it,you're good to go! And the induction plate is so good it's almost unbelievable! Cheers

I use a methylated spirits cooker. A touch of water in it stops blackening.

 Hi

I have induction cooktop in my house and it leaves normal hot plates for dead its much better to cook with than normal hot plates and definitely worth the extra if any cost.I always get my gas canisters from the big green shed as I seem to be visiting that place regularly

Cheers

Induction cooker and pots very cheap at kmart. We have one at home and in the caravan for powered sites. Easy to cook outside with and very efficient. Set temp and set time perfect cooking. Cheers Stewart.

Teaspoon, as I recall you can get a converter plate for induction cookers so that any pot can be used, saw them on Ebay.

I have 5 boxes of them. Everytime I see a box of 12 somewhere, I buy it. As we use it in the home to cook in summer and also for camping. We got our last box a month ago at Big W in Inverell. As our Big W has not closed down.

When I got my single Induction Cook Top and living in my aluminium teepee full time only have a 2ltr and a 1ltr pot so bit the bullet and got both sizes in a set form Kmart with the metal base and even were non stick, so far they have been great and only cost $20. My big soup pot and fry-pan were OK so didn't have to replace.

I love the Induction Cook Top when on 240v but still have the single gas canister burner for when off the grid. Best of both worlds.

As a side note, I was given an Air Fryer and use that heaps too when on 240v.
