I ask, as many Prados have maximum tow weight of van of 2500kg, and from a previous post of yours I think your van is nearly 3000kg. I see you say it is now around 2700kg.
I would certainly look for something else even if the Prado is rated to 3000kg, as it would be too close to maximum. I did tow 2250kg with a 2006 Prado, and I wouldnt have wanted to go much heavier.

What is the car that you plan to use,or did the computer decide that your Toyota Prado was a Toyota Predominantly? Assuming that your car is indeed a Prado 3 litre,maximum towing capacity is 2500kg,with maximum ball weight of 250kg.However,with an 1800kg rear axle you could load it up a bit! GCM,or total weight of car and van,is 5490kg,but you CANNOT tow your 2700kg van.Cheers

Apparently there is such an animal as a 3 door Prado,with a 3 litre motor? This model CAN tow 3000kg ATM.Cheers
