Recommendations sought for a LED desk/inspection lamp

As with most people my eyes are not as good as they were 20 years ago and I find I need very good light in order to see small detail in an object so I'm intending to buy a LED desk lamp of a style something like these Bunnings items:

Desk lamp 1

Desk lamp 2

My only requirements are price and size/weight - less than $50 and as light/small as reasonable as it will live in my caravan.

Your suggestions please people?

Mike have you considered a LED Headlight, battery operated, lightweight, adjustable lumination, no need to use generator, can be used outside.
I was converted to headlights earlier this year - best move ever. I bought a pack of Two at Supercheap for around $30 from memory - I just checked on line (can't find mine) but they do have a Re-chargeable one for $30 on special - Father's Day approaching so now is the time to find special offers.

I used to do very fine detailed work. A few light sources are better. Also working on a green or grey desktop or background so you have more contrast compared to the object you are working on makes it easier. Also make sure the light source is shielded from your eyes.

Thanks for the replies people :)

Good idea regarding the headlight Possum - I have used one for years, wonderful around camp - I'll give it a try.

We have a couple of Olight H1R 600 lumen warm white head lamps. Very happy with them.

There was one situation in western Queensland where there was these strange mounds on the ground. With a headlamp the mound would not cast a shadow & I tripped over a couple of them.

Finally learnt to revert to a hand held torch. Other than that situation a head lamp is brilliant. Sometimes I will use our two headlamps for multiple light sources.
