SWMBO found this on the beach this morning, no manufacturer identity and no oyher markings other than this. Powered by a 9v battery.
To me appears to be a GPS locator?
Cheers

Morning Richard, it looks very much like a pin pointer metal detector, used for precise location after receiving a signal from a larger metal detector.
Commonly used on beaches and easy to lose.
Cheers,
Santa.

Yes a Metal detector.
We have just bought a new one for the Mens Shed and it is this model. We use it for checking old recycles timber before machining it.
Vibrates in your hand when detecting a fine brad or big old rusty nail.
Our old metal detector mysteriously destroyed itself and put itself back in its pouch and into the store. ????
