I have 2 very similar photos of that scene of Nettillie Rest Area, the difference apart from the car and caravan is the upgrade of the pull off area.
One photo taken about August 1974, I was driving a semi across to Adelaide from Syndney.
The second photo is when we were on our annual holidays returning from Ayre Peninsula to Brisbane with our car & camper in 2007.
Just a bit of nostalgia.
