Anybody do Geocaching?

Looking into the sport of Geochacing. An interesting aside

for when camped  - just look up the sites and see if you can find.

Download the app to your device and away we go . . . .

Certainly learn to use GPS positioning info!

I was just starting to look into this as well.

An interesting little diversion when you pull up for a few days.

Maz and I have been caching for years and even run a couple here in WA.

There are two major web sites to this sport - geocaching.com in USA who charge for premium membership ?

There is also an Australia only group (with the austrralian link you posted earlier.  Not as many caches but all available for free.

We have been caching since 2013, and have smilie faces allover Austalia, NewZealand, and Indonesia. We use www.geocaching.com site, as this site gives you caches all over the world and great support. Sure we pay for premium membership, but figuer that an annual charge of about $35.00 per year is a cheap hobby. Good support and companionship.2021-06-21 (2).png

Current find rate is 5467 finds, The only place in our "lap" we have not cached is from Port Lincolne to Esperance.
