We are currently on the north coast of NSW heading into QLD but only around Warwick and Goondiwindi, back down to Sydney via Moree, Gunnedah etc. Does anybody have any knowledge or first hand experience of the mice plague in those areas please. Will change our plans if necessary. Thanks

Seems there is a Govt "Mouse monitoring" website you might like to try,and you also could download the "Mouse Alert" app to see if it is of any use to you.Good luck! Cheers
Have been from Wollongong out through the central west up to lightning ridge across the Qld border to Dirranbandi and now back down the Newell, only problem I had was in Dirranbandi where one night I had 7 killed in traps inside the motor home, watched one came in through a 3/8 gap in the sliding door none since leaving there, traps are still set
We are heading to Dubbo and Tamworth then taking a right turn to the coast. Rang both caravan parks where we are staying who stated there are minimal mice there and that from their information, the mice are moving toward Sydney. With the cold weather coming, hopefully that has some effect. Fingers crossed
Thanks everybody. Since posting my question we have met several caravanners with mice horror stories. One couple had to wear beanies to bed at Armatree so the mice would not get into their hair. In one night the mice chewed through the timber bottom of their caravan wardrobe. These stories plus the information here has made us decide to abandon our planned route and return back to Sydney via the coast. Thanks again.
