We train them to be killers and rightly so if they are to defend our country. But then we send them off to dirty little wars where the enemy do not play by any rules other than to kill our boys and girls any way they know how.
Meanwhile we have tied our guys up to fight with one hand behind their backs with rules thought up in civilised countries that the enemy doesn't recognise or care about and then we get suprised when the odd one or two of our trained killers go outside the rules and do the same as the enemy.
It's laughable and deplorable all in one. War is such a dirty business and our governments should not be in such a big rush to go into everything the yanks get involved in.
It's been the same since Vietnam and nobody seems to have learnt anything. We and the USA are pulling out of STAN now after multi billion dollars, countless effort and lives lost for what? and nothing achieved, the Taliban is claiming victory. I wonder how our vets will feel about that decision.
