Winter in QLD this year?

Would appreciate fellow nomads' opinions on whether to risk travelling to QLD this winter. We're planning to visit the coast as far as Cairns. No-one has a crystal Covid ball, but what are your thoughts on this?

As with any treatment for any known medical condition, please have it BEFORE you leave the south.

This has been covered in other topics on here but unfortunately it happens repeatedly that people travel from the south knowing they need medical treatment only then to overload the doctors surgeries, medical centres and some hospitals.

The doctors and medical facilities in most towns and centres are structured around what is considered to be permanent residents and have trouble if having to cope with hundreds of extra visitors.

Please get the covid jab before you travel.

Please have other medical conditions attended to, before you travel.

Regards

Angie

Just go. you dont know whats around the corner. I have heard lots of stories of people waiting until they have this or that and by the time they leave, they find they r not well enough or soon into the trip get sick and have to give it up. 8 weeks into our around australia trip strop got diagnosed with bowel cancer. It has been a hard few years but Strop got the final all clear a few days ago. Thats great. Now i am not as interested and we r that bit older. Just go. Rocket n strop
