Some good information for newbies and not so newbies

Here is a publication from a reputable source with some very good information on towing heavy trailers.

It is a big read but worth it, particularly if you are just setting out to tow a caravan or large trailer.

Enjoy

A good article Clarky 1.

My main concern is his use of the terms weight and mass interchangeably. particularly his use of the term TBM (tow ball mass). this is a force (weight) not a mass.

It is interesting to note that the australian design rules use mass to define the terms GVM, GCM and ATM (Kg), but use weight (force KgWt) to define all other terms we commonly encounter.
