SOG

Has any one fitted a SOG system and how good have you found it,  dose it break down the waste, plus has it got an odor when you have to empty it,

Regards Bowser.

We have a SOG. Has nothing to do with breaking down the waste. Just a better smell "retarder"! When you flush you must hold it open for a few seconds so the smell is extracted. Would I buy one again? Yes. But not a "must have".

In reality all a SOG is is a fan that vents the smell to the outside. It creates a negative pressure in the waste section thus preventing the smell from coming up through the toilet. But for it to work you must give it a few seconds to vent to the outside.
