i put LED lights on the caravan rear as the old ones were festoon globe type ......the LEDs are way brighter and after the most recent trip away my mate told me after following that my lights were not very easy to see ........also put new wire for the LEDs and a caravan plug on the rig as well .......going away as a single its hard to check the lights ......
Spent just about whole day "washing" it. That Red Dust that gets into every crevice is like a tattoo, after a few weeks in western Queensland - has anyone ever discovered some way to stop it discolouring all the white sealant around windows, hatches and doors or at least know of a way to successfully clean it?
Fortunately it is well sealed and has no dust ingress inside the van or hatches.

Aha . I went around with some glue and screws . A few had come out the back of those push to lock on cupboards. A few minutes all fixed . Yet has been like that for 18 months !! Talking LED ? Removed the LED strip down the side of motorhome. Sun has got to it . Going to fit another LED strip under awning due to better UV protection .. Oh fitted 3 bar MAP to Chev 6.5 .. Now it doesnt go into limp mode . Pulls like a train till I get to decent hill !!

most times, water and vinegar with some elbow grease.
The breakaway pin come out of the thingy on the caravan draw bar, not once but trice with my brand new tyres so I have now purchased a new one.
Interesting the wires are both black, no noticeable differences, checking the old wiring seems to be the same except got some silver paint on it, careless me.

You can use an old toothbrush.............or a Gerni like I do, just don't get too close or you could blast it off.
on our van im going to move the kitchen bench overhang that has the kettle on it when setup ........its my fault i put it to low as its at the end of a single bed .......ive hit my feet on it a few times when turning over ..........all i need to do is lift it up higher but put it same area .........oh well something to do eh

Sure gets into everything ....I reckon I have seen it inside a can of tinned food when it was opened .........!
Re-hung a pelmet in the bedroom. Two screws holding small right angle braces had pulled out of the wall. I replaced them with 100mm but hinges using four No.10 screws each side.
I very much doubt the pelmet will ever fall off the wall again. no matter how rough the roads are.
Washed the outside of the van including blasting and brushing the spider webs off it. It hasn't moved in two years... The inside clean is next, then check brakes and wheel bearings. With a bit of luck we will get away in March for a couple of weeks just to whet our appetites for more travelling later in the year. We will be sticking to Victoria in March so we don't get caught on the wrong side of the border. Touch wood...
