Dog Trailer v Pig Trailer

Seems that even way back in the 1960s the Leyland brothers understood that if you want to use a lightweight car to tow a heavy trailer,a DOG trailer is inherently much more stable than is a PIG trailer, and the only safe way to go.These days, however,it seems that simple physics is not understood by a large number of caravanners? Cheers
