whilstwe are not new to caravanning ( all touring to date) but want to be a little more adventurous with free camping and maybe a bit more remote travel we are currently in the throws of buying a new van. And we have a few questions.
the van has a centre ensuite.... can get privacy on loo if you close the cavity door to living area and kitchen...
whilst we would only be using the loo for #2 if free camping..... I wonder about odours .... do the sog things really work in these circumstances?
we will be putting in a Mitsubishi heavy industries 2.5 or 3.5kw? reverse cycle inverter a/c .....blowing from rear (bedroom) to the front living area through the ensite .... will it work with the narrowing constriction Of the ensuite? can it run off a Honda 220e generator?
is there a thread for those with semi off-road suspension about what roads are suitable ( driving to conditions and tyre pressures etc.) or a set of maps etc ... eg is Birdsville track ok for semi off road or real off road ?
no doubt well have more questions as we go on this new adventure
Welcome to the gang Lucas, enjoy here and out in the playground.
May I suggest you have a good look through the 'Techies' section of this great forum. There is also a search box in the thick blue line above. Just type in a suitable word or two and hit search. It's amazing what's lurking in the Dungeon.
You could also ask as many questions in the appropriate section of the forum but read through all replies and pick and choose as you see fit. There a just a couple here that tend to get carried away. Apart from that we are a friendly lot. We don't mind a bit of fun either.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

I would Check with a supplier what generator you should use for caravanning air cond. it is necessary to get a gen that can handle the startup of ac and then its running plus the running noise level they are noisy beasts.
