HWS working on AC and decided to try on gas which worked perfectly. Then switched back to AC only to find no hot on AC. Pushed reset button, still no hot water on AC. Any thoughts / comments appreciate. Thankyou Lou

Heating element may be blown - generally main cause of problems .......
