RE: Travelling together

Hello all you fellow travellers.  I am enquiring on here if anyone would like to travel with another person (male or female).

I am hoping to go from SA to  North Queensland in about two months time and don't want to travel alone again.

I have a small van and would want someone with their own vehicle to travel along with me.

Helen

Hi Glasses, I moved to TAS 12 years ago and still travelling around finding new things too see....in May, I plan to go back to the North Island to travel slowly up to Tully. If your plans are going that way(north) I would enjoy company. Also, if you plan to visit TAS before I leave , you're more than welcome to use here as a base. Regards, Elwyn.

WOW!! I will soon be ready to accept invitations. Have to do some work on the van and then "road, here I am!" Good to have some women to share experiences. Good to know there are women outthere. Yoohoo!! Here I go.

G'day Helen

Are you aware of the Solos section of the CMCA motorhome / caravan club?

About 1/3 of their total membership is solo travellers and they are all over Oz ... and very often have people doing what you are asking about
If it interests you at all, pop over to their web site and ask similar questions there. You will need to become a member to follow through though

Hope this helps
Phil

There's also www.rollingsolo.com.au which is an all female solo group.
I met two women up from Qld at Wilpena Pound in April, one with a small Caravan and the other in a campervan.
They do have an annual registration fee.
I thought I might give them a try when Covid settles as I'm just not comfortable leaving S.A. right now.
Cheers

Well covid has put a stop to all plans for now. I started to head off with my gf to lawn hill rain for 7 days so looked up out at undarra lava caves same 7 days rain so we came back here (home) and just chilled out for a few days then I had to get her on a plane home due to her possibly getting stuck in qld as she lives in nsw. So plans to go someplace next year .
