Bubonic Plague

 

I think that Bubonic Plague  has been around for centuries and is still active in various places including the USA so it seems.

Bubonic Plague, is not a threat to first world countries, as (if what I read is true), hygiene, plus modern medicine, will stop it in its tracks

From what I am reading on the subject, (on the Internet, which may/may not be correct)

China has more or less contained the Coronavirus, (Covid-19) by ring fencing certain areas

I will therefore assume that any outbreak of Bubonic Plague, will be contained

but,  We do have antibiotics to deal with this.  or..... has this version mutated? so that our antibiotics don't work anymore?

 An interesting opinion/theory, msg

When I surf the net, I have three ways of looking at what I read

• I can believe it all
• I can believe nothing
• I can go by my gut feeling, considering other bits and pieces, I have previously read, and believe some of it

My personal gut feeling, is that China has contained the Covid-19 Coronavirus, by ring fence type lockdowns, going by the number of cases, which have been reported

I see no reason, why they would not be able to contain the Bubonic Plague

We last had Bubonic Plague in Australia, around 1925, and we contained it, so once again, I am not really concerned about Bubonic Plague
