Welcome to the gang PURCY, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Nice set up indeedy, very nice. I used to drive a very similar bus many moons back now and in a previous life. Only difference was, it had all seats in. Nice bus/coach to drive too. It had fabric seats with head rests and a headrest covers that were changed and sanitised each night and another set put on and so on.

Gee, we were very CV19 aware even back then.

Keep Safe out there.

Just a thought.

You need a "U" trap to stop convection heat loss on your hot water tank. Also insulate the hot water pipe & add extra insulation to the tank.

Rheem hot water tank heat loss per 24 hours to maintain temperature, AS1056.1

25L 1.18kWh, 50L 1.39kWh, 80L 1.67kWh, 125L 1.95kWh.

My guess is you are using 1.1kWh per 24 hours just to keep the tank hot & some more without U trap & uninsulated pipe.

Our 80L tank with Aircell (Kingspan) inner layer, R4 polybatts (2 layers on top of tank) & an outer layer of Aircell, reduced heat loss from 1.67kWh down to 0.95kWh per 24 hours. Measured at 15C ambient temperature so it would be even better at the 21C ambient standard.
