I just did a very quick search and came up with this.

As Hewy say's go through the Sales Pages.

Some neighbours have had their caravan still for sale for a year now. It may be difficult to find a buyer to pay what you think it is worth. Patience & or flexibility!

Not wishing to offend you, but I suggest sub 30k, it's a 12 year old van and being 25' reduces the amount of potential buyers, also if the ATM is around 3500kg that also limits the sales potential to suitable vehicle owners without a GCM/GVM upgrade.

Take it to a few dealers and see what they will offer you for it.
That is what its "worth".
Then try selling it at what they offer plus a moderate margin (their profit and overheads plus warranty value).
If you need to sell it, don't be greedy because the best chance is in the first week or 2 it is offered. After that people stop looking.

We all think that things we own are worth more than they really are.
Cheers,
Peter

Re ( it's a 12 year old van and being 25' reduces the amount of potential buyers, also if the ATM is around 3500kg that also limits the sales potential to suitable vehicle owners without a GCM/GVM upgrade.)

Agree, with a guess estimate towball load could be approaching 350Kg the potential vehicle owners that can tow the van are limited (landcruiser 100/200 series), you probably be selling to someone who wants to live in the van because of its size. or an experienced caravanner who is not worried about the size/length.

Looking at whats on offer on the web, if you live in a capital city I would try for $38,000 and accept anything over 35. Small town/city I would take $5k off this.

But what P&M says above, is worth following up, bearing in mind, to me, they will still suggest a higher price than what its worth so you are not giving them competition in the second hand market.

All the Best for the Sale, now is the best time as we are coming out of lockdown.

Peter
