I do know that "Nomads" migrate from place to place - but may I ask:
Is there a Listing anywhere of Caravan Parks that will allow you to park your van and "live" there for a year or so? Or at least 9 months?
I have looked at various caravan parks' websites, and that information is just not available. I assume that it will mostly older, and not so snazzy parks that will allow that.
(this is for after the Corona virus has died down, not as a place to shelter during)
I have tried to type in variations of "Permanent Van Park" into google search, but I find nothing. The only other way to achieve 6-9 months in one place seems to take on a House sitting job.
My sister & her husband stay long term at the Highway 1 Caravan Park north of Adelaide, travelling for around 3 months a year. Not sure what it costs them.
They are about
Had 2 years in one in broome
12 months in perth, but had to go out the gate and back in every 90 days
Have struck others about but most you will find you have to in and outt , or have a limit of 90 days. There is a law to percentage of permanant sites hey can have. The one in broome I booked 3 months prior to and it had to be a site with amenities, no choice of sites in a half empty park.
cheers

The smaller of the caravan parks at Augusta, in Western Australia, has permanent sites
Most of the permanent are either built cabins, or caravans with hard annexes, they have room for permanent caravans
The ablution block is on the small side, as most, if not all permanent, are self contained
There is one caravan park at Mandurah, Western Australia (forgot its name) near the spud shed, so a local may know the name
They have caravan with hard annex for periodic sale, so I assume you can put your own caravan there
There is one rental price if you only use the caravan for part of the year, and another rental price for living in the caravan full time
As others above have already said, they are out there, but probably not advertising it
In Victoria very few parks will allow you to stay for more than 59 days because on day 60 you become a "Resident" under the renting act and gain all sorts of rights. Other states may well have similar legislation.

It also depends on the rules put in place by the particular shire council, as many have rules on how long you can stay in one place at a caravan park. The park may have their hands tied by the council.
hi I am Staying at the Sandalwood Van & Leisure Park just out of Wardell far north coast NSW they prefer long term tenants buy the local rules only allows you to stay 6 months.
Another option might be to look for small country locations looking for a "caretaker" ... someone who is on-site daily but exchanges an hour or two of their time daily for free accommodation costs
