I don't get it!

 

We were in our local Aldi & bumped into the store manager which we do fairly regularly. We had a bit of a chat about the current situation.

He said they are working flat out.

We have no more trucks.

Putting double the amount of stock on the shelves.

Being abused regularly by customers because the shelves are missing the things they want.

They now have a security guard at the entrance.

 

I do not understand people abusing these hard working people.

 

If you see supermarket workers thank them for all their hard work. They need a lot morale support!

A little common courtesy never goes astray. I like to say "thank you very much. It is appreciated" to those at the checkouts, the waiter who picks up the dirty plates off the table, the people behind the reception desks etc. etc. It's not hard. Cheers.

My signature is to remind myself, to be on my best behaviour, while travelling

As I do not like being around, grumpy, and abusive people

Then I do not think that I have the right, to be grumpy/abusive, to others

Unfortunately, we (Grey Nomads especially), are all tarred with the same brush

I just hope that being courteous to others, that some locals, will see that some of us travellers, are civilised

seen a few places that have put up perspex screens to give some protection to the people at the till similar to banks and service stations
