Setec Drifter Trouble

I have a setec drifter  panel in my van and it has worked fine for  two years, then we dragged it out of the shed to use it again for a weekend and the panel has no information on it at all, so where the bucket shape is it reads no water the battery will run the electrical in the van but the drifter says the battery is flat ect.

Can anyone help me? PLEASE

Welcome to the forum, Wonder Woman

It looks like no one has got your model of Setec, or never had your problem

In a normal situation, if you check for loose wires, and/or bad connections on the fuse, you may spot something wrong

Other than that, you may need a techie (I am not a techi), to look at it for you

When you do find the problem, if you let us know what it was, it may help others in the future

I have no knowledge of this device but a quick look on the net indicated that it monitors your WATER TANKS as well as your battery.

If you have a user manual have a good read of it.

It might just be telling you that your water tanks are empty.

What do you mean 'The drifter says the battery is flat'?

Have you had the 240v plugged in while the van was in the shed.  That should keep the batteries fully charged.

If not, having it connected to 240v overnight at a CP or in the sun for a day if you have solar should do the trick.

ps...  You can download a user manual if you don't have one.
