ROAD CLOSURES ACROSS THE SHIRE: The local road network has been affected by recent localised rain as follows:

REGIONAL ROADS CLOSED
1. Golden Highway at the following locations:
a) Lighthouse Hill (near intersection of Merotherie Road all motorists travelling west from Merriwa are requested to use Ulan Road for their safety.
b) Dunedoo - west side of town and near Limestone Creek Bridge road collapse at centre of pavement and traffic is to move with caution; Council crews are on site at these locations to help motorists.
2. Coolah Creek Road near Coolah
3. Yarrow Road in Mendooran
4. Purlewaugh Road near Coonabarabran small vehicles must use River Road to travel towards Purlewaugh and heavy trucks can use Oxley highway to travel towards Gunnedah

ROADS OPEN TO SMALL VEHICLES - TRAVEL WITH CAUTION
1. Dandry Road near Coonabarabran
2. Napier Lane near Rocky Glen/Purlewaugh
3. Tooraweenah Road near Mendooran
4. Francis Street in Mendooran
5. Beni Road near Mendooran
6. Castlereagh Highway between Mendooran and Dunedoo
7. Golden Highway Dunedoo east side of town; all motorists travelling from Gulgong are cautioned not to risk safety by travelling through flood water
8. Evans Road near Neilrex
9. Cobborah Road near Cobborah
10. Round Mountain Road near Coolah
11. Warrumbungle Way between Binnaway and Weetaliba
12. Neilrex Road close to intersection of Mt Hope Road
13. Gundare Road near Coolah
14. Rotherwood Road near Coolah
15. Wardens Road near Leadville
16. Upper Lahey creek Road near Cobborah
