MFSR 2020

Just wondering with the current fire activity around Corryong, do you think the MFSR festival will still happen or be rescheduled

Welcome to the gang Cassie63, enjoy here and out in the playground.

With all the drama in that area as we speak it makes it a very hard question but because the Festival isn't until 1-5 April it could be possible it will go ahead. I would suggest you keep an eye on the news etc and see how things go. Personally, I wouldn't make plans to go just yet.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Man from Snowy River Festival (MFSR) is how it should be initially described/written to save others from having to look up the acronym (like me) www.bushfestival.com.au/2020-volunteering/ is even better.

I suggest you contact the committee or town to get the latest. Better to go direct and get the facts immediately.

I suggest waiting to do that, as they have a bit on their mind and plate at present.

OK, I own up. I had to ask my good mate Mr Google as I had no idea what it was.

That was my point; If one is going to use acronyms have the courtesy to initially fully write the object/s then put acronym in parenthesis. That is number one of the golden rules in technical writing.

Crikey, Possum, now I'll have to look up "acronym" and "parenthesis". That is starting to get into the w..k (nope, still can't say that word) category.

I guess if anyone knew of the festival or whether it was going ahead they would know what he was on about, and I guess that is who he was asking.
