After a lot of phone messages, texts and private messages, tonight on Kangaroo Island, after several days of fires and evacuations, Matilda Traveller and Dunmowin finally got together for a meet up and chinwag on Kangaroo Island

We knew each other was on the island - pick this place proved that - but time, Christmas and families chose to keep us separated by not too many miles. 

Tonight, after a previous night of trauma, drama and a few smokey inhales, Matilda Traveller, Dunmowin and their good friends SnappyTomCats (not their real names) met up in the Queen's pub in Kingscote for a meal, a chat, a lot of laughter. MT is good at jokes, the kept us in laughter mode - which after our previous evac night was a welcome relief. To those who do not / have not met MT, she is the absolute queen of jokes, and has a huge repertoire under her belt.
