12v switch on golden eagle caravan

observe the switch to the left of the 240v power plugs and above the water level indicator, this seems to effect only the 12v power on 0 there is no 12v power but there is 240v, on 1 there is 12v as well as 240v, on 2 there is only 240v, I am wondering if the 2 setting may activate the 12v to the 3way fridge while traveling?

Any input would be welcome.

I assume that the 3way fridge is wired to run only from the car ? unfortunately the fridge has no indicator to tell if it is running except on gas mode. Nor does the fridge have an internal light. I will have a look at the wiring if I still cannot figure it out I will take it to an auto electrician.

Fridge (Dometic RM 4601 - 184 ltr) was initially wired throgh 7 pin plug.

I changed it to a separate anderson plug with heavier wiring as it didn't work very well through 7 pin plug. The 12 v switch mentioned initial post was always left on 2
