The Rolling Stones and Roy Orbison performed to audiences in Australia 54 years ago, best seats in Brisbane were 30/- (what a bargain) and they traveled by Ansett.
Ah the big O. I am lucky to have his dvd Black and White night, packed with talent, Springsteen, Elvis Costello and more and great audio. There is a terrific guitar riff that seems to go on forever! It is available in libraries here in Vic if you can't buy a copy.

I saw "Roy", Johnny O'Keefe, Gene Pitney and Del Shannon among others at the Raffles Hotel, WA in the 70's.......still have great memories of those days.
