Another good read Cuppa, so thanks for that

Hope that your health front, stays well and truly under control

As far as the police check goes, it certainly makes you wonder, if someone had stolen both of your identities

As usual Cuppa and Mrs Tea, a great read with great pics.

The different sounds you are experiencing must be exciting and does come through in your voice. Loved the 'rat on a hot tin roof' story.

I have been lucky enough to see a Cassowary up close and in the wild up around inland and slightly north of Townsville a few years back. He/she even allowed me to take some close up pics but due to me not trusting the beautiful creature made sure quick entry to the Collie was at hand. A very lovely sight indeed.

As for all the health issues, I too have had most of 2019 in pain so hope you are mending well.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Thanks both of you. I did read your description of having to restrict yourself to driving short distances Doug, not a lot of fun, hope you can keep doing it though 'cos the alternative is way less fun.
,
Best wishes for Christmas & the New year to all.

For us it will be a very quiet affair with most of our family on the other side of the planet, & our son in Victoria. No decorations, no tree, no booze, no pressies. Just 'another day in the jungle', perhaps with something special for lunch. I am not complaining, folk often say things to us like "I wish I could do what you're doing but ....." The but is often family commitments. We are lucky in that respect, we have each other, but ..... Christmas time is our turn to feel envious of those who have extended family around them.

So whatever your circumstances ...... be nice to yourself this festive season.

Really enjoyed your blog (as usual). You amaze me with your flora and fauna facts.
Take care and have a great holiday season.
