For your information I was advised by a nursing home pharmacy nurse that there is a scam taking place regarding prescription drugs.

Residents receive a phone call and are told that the caller represents a pharmacy that has a doctor's prescription ready for delivery to the resident, and asks for credit card details for payment.

When the resident replies that he/she obtains drugs from the nursing home the caller responds with a doctor's name hoping that the resident will be confused enough to cooperate.
