After many years and many trips, we are selling our camper trailer as we have outgrown it as a family - moving on to different things.
The camper is a "Desert Edge camper trailer" made by Telwater. It is incredibly easy to tow as it is very light and has the Alko tortion suspension system. It comes with an annexe, but we usually used a much larger tarp for multi-night stays. You don't need a "big" 4wd to tow this camper, it weighs 580kg unladen - most campers weigh closer to a tonne. I towed it with a Nissan Pathfinder (R51) and it was barely there. It is a dream to tow on sand! It is ideal for a couple with young kids as is. It has a 9ft tent, but I see you can buy new tents pretty easily these days and could swap it out easily, most of the value is in the chassis. This trailer has lockable storage on the front and sides.
