Is there a an elect cupboard? Add fuse or breakers there . Or above batteries, power supply.. Make sure theres a light to see fuses etc at night . You NEVER have issues when you can see !! Eye height, under inside light or fit a little LED light in fuse cabinet . Maybe above or beside first aid box ?

I have a small plastic box in the cupboard that has fuses, ampmeter, solar controller, etc - also have a battery operated LED Light (so don't need van power) plus a torch in there as AK said you always need light.

Hi clancee;

I put my main fuse holder real close to the main battery. This feeds all of the original circuits as well as the new circuits that i put in. What ever way you go, please include a main fuse between the battery positive terminal and the rest. Do not use a circuit breaker ( i use a maxi fuse ( 50 Amp ) in this place ). have seen breakers weld the contacts them self together under a very heavy load/short.

You can make up a short cable with lugs both ends . This can double your connection or add an active link to screw low amp circuits too ? Well insulated, heat shrink etc
