Rules Beach Bush Camp

We had a few spare days between Bundaberg and a booking at 1770 so dropped into Rules Beach Bush Camp for 3 nights. Entry is from the road into 1770. They have a mix of non powered and powered camp sites. $9 per person plus $7 for powered site. Potable water is available on site but not plumbed to individual sites. Fire pits [half drums) are available for all sites and free firewood is delivered daily to all sites. Toilet, shower and laundry facilities are included.

Every afternoon happy hour starts around the communal fire pit with a free treat of scones or cake or biscuits all home made by our hosts The property is 180 hectares of mostly bush with tracks to walk around. Only a few minutes drive for beach fishing or to the boat ramp for estuarine fishing. Close to Deepwater national park. So peaceful and relaxing I wish there were more places like this
