Hello

Hi

I'm 45+ looking at solo traveling as all the kiddies have left the nest I will be looking at working so my fingers are crossed that I don't have a hard time finding work eg: clean , motel housekeeping ect my interest include photography , fossicking/ rockhounding ( would love to learn more about ) bush walking , reading a good book etc oh and watching the sun come up with a good cuppa and watching sun go down with a cold one.

I look forward to meeting people along the way. Travel safe and enjoy the moment cheers

Welcome to the gang Lisa, enjoy here and out in the playground.

It sounds like you have the right idea about this great lifestyle and I tell you that for free. I have been a full time GN for five years now and three part time GN before that and love it all.

Make sure you check out all the different sections of this great forum and ask any questions or contribute in the appropriate places.

Keep Safe on the rods and out there.

G'day Lisa (aka Nytmadie) and welcome to the forum.  Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit.  Hope you find a great life on the road.

Pete and Marion

You go Girl. Nice to see more solos out there enjoying everything on offer. It is the perfect lifestyle and anyone with a good attitude towards work and who wants to work will be fine. Being a barista is almost a guaranteed job and its not difficult to learn. Waitressing, serving behind a bar, the lust goes on. Youll soon learn the ropes and all of us on the road will certainly help you along the way. Just travel safe and trust your gut instinct. Peta
