Port Augusta - North to ……….

Hi all - have been from Port Augusta to Hawker on a previous trip but am now looking at going further perhaps to Maree - is the road to there from Hawker sealed and, if not, suitable for a large Motorhome.   Thanks

Port Augusta to Marree via Hawker and Leigh Creek is bitumen all the way.
Some of the best drives in the Flinders are gravel but are generally suitable for larger vehicles.
Cheers,
Peter

Have just returned from over there, the road is really good and the new section was having tye lines painted the day we were there.

From Hawker to Blinman is also a sealed drive giving you extensive views of the Flinders Rangers, perhaps if you were careful maybe able to do a couple of the drives near Wilpena pound to gain some extra views of this remarkable country.
