Clickable Link to another website, another way to insert it

Hi Cuppa

John (Rockylizard) had put up a post how he did it, which I have used as the website to link with

Here is another way(may not be the correct way, but the way I do it)

When logged in, and in either NEW TOPIC or ADVANCED EDITOR

Copy and paste the website address you wish to link to

https://thegreynomads.activeboard.com/t57318136/adding-link-to-another-website/

  1. Highlight the website address you wish to link to
So that people know what they are linking to
At this point I also Bold/Underline/and change colour

  2. Click on the link thingy, looks like a chain link, highlighted with a red circle
    The Insert/Edit Link box appears

  3. Paste the address you want to link to, in the link box, highlighted with a red circle

  4. Click the dropdown "V" box in Target, highlighted with a red circle
Select Open Link In New Window

  5. Scroll down (if you can not see it), and select Insert

Hope that this info is useful to someone in the future

I do similar Tony, Cindy described this process to me shortly after I joined.

I don't change the target ID, leave it on (not set) seems to work fine.smile
