Overall length of van is 28 foot.  New Colorado is the tug.  Are the roads hilly, rough, winding or mountainous etc.  Looking for the easiest way to get to Tenterfield from Ballina

Freezing up there on the new England Tableland at the moment.

My late Uncle & Auntie owned a caravan park in Glen Innes.

Roads are all good bitumen but a bit steep & winding in a few places, watch out for black ice.

Cheers Judy

Not only there!

I am in Townsville and it is nudging the lower side of 8c at 7.15am today. For the first time I can remember in the 14 years of coming up here I put a small heater on to take the chill out of the air in the aluminium tent.

It will be around 25c by lunchtime though so all good.

Gee, I must be turning into a Townsvillian biggrin

Whilst it's a bit windy and steep in a few places, the road is used by many vans of all sizes. There are a couple of places where there's roadworks but these are not a problem. It's quite a pretty drive too.
I doubt you'll have any difficulty.

We will be doing that trip in from the other direction starting on Saturday from Tamworth. We have done it several times before and apart from it being a bit hilly and a couple of twisty bits have had no trouble.
