Cost of diesel

Diesel at Undara QLD is $1.98 Litre !!!

However down the road at Mt Garnett, it was $1.38 Litre. The most expensive?? and the cheapest?? fuel in Qld within 100 k.s of each other.

Don't know the servo at Undara. Is it the Undara Experience ? I bought fuel at Jenolan Caves decades ago "just in case". Can't recall the price but I remember thinking it might have be cheaper to dump the car and walk away. Certainly not the dearest (but close $2 litre Cameron Corner) and possibly the not cheapest (Western Darling Downs). All fuel prices vary so much now that fuel apps are a must.

Years ago near Uluru, the price was 99.9 cpl. I asked why they didnt just make it $1/l. He said we would but thats as high as the pump goes

Soo after that, the new pumps were introduced that went well above the $1 mark

Just be grateful that you don't pay the prices that some European's pay.
We were paying AUD$2.50/L in Turkey in 2013 and that was typical of the whole country, not just some remote corner.
Scotland and England were even more expensive.
Cheers,
Peter
