Lithium batteries

Hello T1Terry,

Thank you very much for your reply to my post which appearEd to be buried and now I have lost it in the mire of posts regarding these batteries.

I did manage to read it once and as usual it displayed your vast knowledge in this regard and your description of your own two motorhomes concise and very informative.

Our inverter is likewise not terribly efficient on standby but I am only concerned with an additional stand alone system to power higher demand appliances such as a microwave etc. and then to switch off and rely on the original solar and two 120 agm s as fitted and are ample for general use. Power for the rac would be welcome without resorting to the generator when free camping!

I am contemplating a 200ah lithium but the sellers of these do not explain as to how they achieve these ratings or whether they have management systems to any clarity.

Perhaps you could comment on that.

Once again thank you for your explanations and I am very surprised by the amount of flack you receive on these forums.

Best regards,

Neil Creswell
