Hi Everyone,We have been looking at getting wifi in our van, we have a smart TV plus our tablets and laptops. We had been looking at RVwifi however we were told about Sphere which is similar and a little cheaper. We tried looking reviews however came up empty. Has anyone heard of them or have one installed that could share their experience? Also if anyone has any experience with RVwifi as well that would be really helpful. We are confused on which one to go with. Thanks in advance for your help.
G'day A & L and welcome to the forum. Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit. Can't help re the van wifi as havn't heeard of either of the two you mentioned.
Welcome to the gang A and L, enjoy here and out in the playground.
I use a Telstra Netgear WiFi device attached to the aluminium teepee wall inside and a patch lead going to a antenna on the roof outside. The lead from that goes through the wall via a coax cable fitting. I stuck a piece of galvanised tin on the roof so the magnetic base had something to attach to. I have my Laptop, Phone and Chrome-cast all going through that and works a treat. I set it up on good plan with Telstra. There is plenty of room for other devices if I had them.
If have WiFi calling set ON on my phone all the time so if phone signal is not good the WiFi device kicks in for me. Works great for me.
I remove the antenna form the roof when mobile.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Hi All, thank you for your replies. I realised after I posted it it may be in the wrong section. Rookie mistake
We have thought of hotspot which may be all we need, we also saw the Telstra netgear device so still looking at all options. All very confusing. Thank you for your help.
