Towing Mirrors Milenco Grand Aero 3

I've been reading the search replies for towing mirrors.  Have  a question, has anyone used the Milenco Grand Aero Extra Wide Flat Glass mirrors on a Colorado 2018 model? If so has there been any issues with them folding in when passed by a large truck or falling off. Thanks.

 Hi Jenny & Barry

How are you. Thanks for the reply. Milenco's it issmile The mirrors we used kept getting blown in by big trucks. Yes still lurking lol just seem to spend a lot of time at work.

As you might have guessed I have a new rig and tow vehicle. Taking a bit of getting used too, but guess who's joining inbiggrin

We looked at Clearview but they don't slide in far enough to allow our ute to get into the garage which has a narrow entrance as well as sticking out too far when parked in shopping centre carparks and could not justify the expense

Same here. Hubby did the measurements after the caravan show.  We even had to change the aerial for a small one. I ordered the Milenco's today.

Happy to report the Milenco mirrors worked perfectly. No problems blowing in with passing trucks. Thank you every one for the help.

Have been using the Millenco Grand Aero flat glass ones for quite awhile on the Ranger and have found them to be pretty good. I don't think that they are anywhere near a Clearview, but like you, have a clearance issue getting into my garage so had to rule out the Clearviews.

Would you believe I have two sets nowbiggrin Just after ordering a friend brought a new van and gave as the exact same mirrors. They have now use for them as they tow with a truck. Ours is such a tight fit in the garage (old style with a central pillar) Even with the original mirrors folded in, no margin for error.
