Holiday on hold

Just finished packing the van & loading the fridge @3:30pm for an early getaway Sunday, when @5:13pm received a phone call from the park manager (where the van is stored)......Van has been broken into, 2 smashed windows, whole inside of van sprayed with the fire extinguisher, luckily only minor items stolen... no

Will try to get windows replaced next week and head north....furious

Fully understand mate, I just hope you get the outcome you want and expect..  But like always being the good nation we are, if we catch these mongrels, we slap them on the wrist and let them walk away, so that they can offend again... The law is on their side mate, not yours..

Update:

Police turned up Monday, but no report yet....

Went to Melbourne on Tuesday, bought 2 new window blades and 1 internal frame, and managed to fit them the same day. Cleaned and repacked the van Wednesday. We headed north Thursday.

Now Saturday, spending the night at Goondiwindi showgrounds $25/night P+W, plenty of room, about 35 rigs in tonight.

Thanks for your suport......
