Cable connections

i recently upgraded my panels and ms , also the cable size to reg and batteries . i connected the cables as per they werefrom manufacture. The batteries are 3 agm, they are in parallel. The cables from the solar were connected to the positive and negative of one battery . I read in an article by enerdrive that in parallel the positive should be on one end ofthe chain and the negative on the other . My question is does this apply to both all feed in and feed out Cables . (ie) cables to charger , to inverter , to sms , feed from the vehicle ??

Yes, every negative connection or cable that runs to a terminal block on one end of the string and all the positives on the other end of the parallel string. Be sure to use decent sized cables between each battery so the current can flow through from each battery. The centre battery will still suffer a bit, but not near as bad as the set up with all the cables on one battery and the rest just hanging off in a parallel string.
If you are using a battery monitor that can handle the full load from all the appliances, including the inverter, then only a single heavy cable should go from the battery negative to the battery side of the shunt, all the other negative cables, including any to the vans metal chassis, go on the load side of the shunt.
