We had wireless around 5 years ago, forget the brand but some times it worked some times not, i would guess that technology has moved on since then.

I received a wifi camera as a gift for a farm sit I did a couple of years ago, I had an auto leccy install the receiver in the dash and installed the camera on the back of the van myself hooking up the power to the parking lights, it works quite well when I'm reversing or driving around towns and cities but once on the highway it breaks down probably half the time, I've thought of trying to find a longer aerial or use an extension lead to place the aerial on to the roof but haven't had enough motivation yet, unfortunately it has a wide angle lens which is not so good as a "rear view mirror" and when reversing a lot of things that are off to the side and not in the way still show up on the screen, if I was doing it again I would use a hard wired one with maybe a 90 degree lens, cheers.
