Four by Choices

okay guys I need help i am buying a used dual cab somewhere between 2010 and 2016, I have narrowed down the field to with Mitsubishi Triton or Isuzu D Max. Probably automatic.  Looking for the pros and cons on each, I understand that the DMax is a bit rougher to ride in, more truck like. Are the fuel number from the manufacturers accurate, or are they just wishful thinking. Any issues with the transmission. Any help offered would be appreciated.  Thanks Keith

Just like to say, welcome to the forum, Keith W

Hopefully someone who has or had those two models, of four x four, will come along and tell you of their experience

Hi Keith....It is a non-event.The Isuzu wins hands down, and will give years of service. The Triton is a joke.....trying Googling something like Triton Bent Chassis and have a look.

Chassis way too light, and the rear overhang is ridiculous.Cheers

Hi Baz, looking at a a lightweight 17 foot pop top van. Would like to do a bit of grey nomad touring. But 80% of the time will be empty with just me and the wife and the groceries. Thanks Keith

Thanks for the welcome Guru, it is nice. The fashion today is to use a few keystrokes as possible, I understand that. But it is always nice to see a full sentence thanks Keith

Yeah I have seen the same style of photos with the Navaras. I guess it does somewhat come down to some common sense, if you over load your tub then put substantial down weight on the towball bad things may happen. Do you own a DMax thanks Keith
