Camping at arrowsmith rest area

Hi to all .I have looked at the ad  saying you can camp there then it says in another place it is just a rest area . Has anyone stayed there lately . I am leaving to head north at the od June and trying to work out my over night stays .Thank you for your time     Snips

Hi Snips

I was on that road last year, and was going to call in and have a look, as the camp book shows a dump point

Around where I thought it was, there was a sign saying no camping

But...

Just a kilometre or so up the road, a couple of trucks were parked up
That may have been the Arrowsmith rest area, and the trucks may have been hiding the dump point

Jeff (JeffRae) above gives good advice, as Cliff Head is a good stop, with modern long drop toilets

Also in Dongara (50 kilometres north of Arrowsmith), there is overnight parking at the oval, but no toilets

The Dongara bakery, up the road from the oval, makes very good fresh bread and rolls

Hi Jeff and Rae and Tony @ Bev thanks for the feed back.Have stayed at cliff head the last couple of times, may just do that again or may try Dongara for a change t Thank you for the feed back . Snipz
