Wintersun Caravan Park, Alice Springs

I want some feedback about Wintersun Caravan Park, Alice Springs. I had a very unpleasant experience there recently and wanted to find out if anyone would recommend .... or not .... that park in the future?

Do you have alternative parks in Alice Springs that you would recommend and why?

I stayed at the G'day mate caravan park in Alice. No complaints there at all, wish I was there now. :)

Haven't ever stayed at Wintersun. Have stayed at the Big4 MacDonnell Ranges several times, we liked it so much the first stay that we have gone back there every time since.

Hi you can camp out the back of the kenworth truck museum power water toilets and showers and quiet and safe I stayed last year around $25 a night

We stayed at the Wintersun a few years ago and were very happy with it. The manager even "trimmed " a tree to ensure we had no trouble accessing site.

I'm with HunnyBunny. G'day was a great safe park. Walk to the tavern for dinner and gates of the park were  shut during the night.

I have stayed at the giday mate and can't praise them highly enough.

They helped in booking tours and even found me someone to repair my leather jacket.
