Hi I went up the cape in 2016 to Weipa then up the development road to the top .Back then the roads were only sealed either side of the towns is this still the case as I heard they were going to seal from Laura to Weipa has Any one got some info on whats happening up there thanks

Its still a long way from being sealed the whole way. The current works which should be finished by the end of next month will mean just over 300km has been sealed, leaving 200km of dirt. Apparently no funding agreement has been reached for further works yet.
