Goondawindi to Mackay

My wife and I are heading north at the end of May and I am not sure which is the best route to take towing 18ft pop top

Any advice will be gratefully accepted as we have only done local trips around Vic

You may need to supply more information , Do you want to keep away from the coast and big town and go up the middle , So many different way to go and do you want to go through Brisbane .

Everywhere in Qld is unlike Vic. I'd keep my options open somewhat, as you might prefer a coastal outlook after travelling to Gundy. I like to travel outward on a different track to my homeward journey but I still have favourites. What interests you have probably dictates your choices. FWIW all inland routes have plenty of food, fuel and camp options. All have good and bad roads. All require one or more range crossings but none are insurmountable.
