Can anybody give me a heads up on the Mitchell St George Road. Planning to travel this road shortly towing a 2t van

 Hi Hendo

Its been sometime since we drove that way and as I remember the cattle rustlers have been eradicated, the road is now sealed with no roadhouses or Golden Arches to be seen.

There was some flooding in the Mitchell area this morning. I've read that the Warrego Highway has been re opened but don't know about your intended road.

Last updated - 24 Apr 2019 03:53 pm - It is the Carnarvon Hwy to the north that is closed owing to flooding.
